Registration Unit

Together with the Kaba exos DML2 door manager the registration units form a fully integrated access control solution. Users identify themselves with the media (badge) on the registration unit directly next to the door. The registration unit is controlled by the door manager which is installed in the secure interior. This separation of the registration units and the door manager is the so-called RRM concept.

Kaba implements brand new card reader series.  Its attractive design, easy to use and wide applicability fully supports Mifare DESfire and Mifare Classic. Its pioneer design and high security fulfil clients' needs and requirements.

The Unit Print-RFID can be installed at back of glass or hidden in door frame.

The two-section plastic housing was especially developed for simple adhesive or screw mounting. This registration unit is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The Kaba exos LT-PN registration unit with integrated LEGIC antenna and keypad ensures maximum access control security. In addition to identification, the user can also be verified by means of the PIN code. The robust reading properties of this registration unit permit direct mounting on metal or glass surfaces while maintaining a constant high level of functionality.

The two-section plastic housing was especially developed for simple adhesive or screw mounting. With the encapsulated electronic components this registration unit is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The Kaba exos Biover II also enables biometric code verification of fingerprint data in addition to identification with the integrated LEGIC antenna. The Kaba exos Biover II is small and can therefore be integrated with low space requirements. The employed biometric sensor is a high-resolution thermo line sensor.

The Kaba exos Biover II can be used both online, integrated into a system, and offline with the door manager. The templates registered at a workplace are only saved on the LEGIC media of the user. The database-free verification enables fast access to the biometric data on the LEGIC media. The saved template and the fingerprint are compared directly.

The templates of two different fingers are saved on the LEGIC media. As a result the user always has the option of using either of these fingers for verification. The Kaba exos LA-PC registration unit combined with the Kaba exos DML2 door manager or the Kaba exos iDML2 access manager is a fully integrated access control solution with convenient user identification. The registration unit is slim and compact and suitable for direct mounting on door frames or almost any fittings, also in a metallic environment. The simple cabling and clever click-on mounting design minimizes installation work. The registration unit is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

With its various antennas the RRM range features a wide selection of installation options. These include invisible mounting in the door leaf or in flush mounted boxes, or visible installation on glass, metal, exposed concrete or other materials. It can be easily integrated into the respective room and security equipment conditions. The reading distance ranges from 5 to 35 cm as required, depending on the employed registration unit.
